The fastest two gun sloop on The Columbia River.

MORGANCE is a Pearson 35, hull number 36.  She is home ported in Scappoose, Oregon at Rocky Pointe Marina.  My partner Alayne and I sail her every chance we get.

MORGANCE
is a Celtic girl's name meaning "Sea Dweller".

The weather was predicted to get cold and snow, but we did not anticipate record breaking amounts and two weeks of survival mode.

2.5 ft. of snow is pretty.

We are sure glad to see it gone.

Each morning for 12 days, the floating home needed as much snow removed as possible.  Then the walkways were cleared and then MORGANCE was taken care of.  We lost water the first day when a preasure regulating valve froze and burst.  Several other homes also had their manifolds burst and several breaks in the supply lines, a total of 13 days without water.  Fortunatly we did not lose electricity.
